HDSHS system Biodiesel Process
Biodiesel, a kind of renewable fuel resource, is widely available. Now, a new trend of utilizing biodiesel resources is being raised. Compared with mineral diesel oil, it has such features as low sulfur content, low pollution emission, good renewability and excellent biological degradability etc. Therefore, it has wide development prospect.
 
Biodiesel is obtained by means of the socalled transesterification process. This is a chemical reaction, which replaces one type of alcohol in a given ester with another using methanol. As a result of this transesterification, the end product has a clearly lower viscosity than the untreated oil and can therefore be used as a fuel, with only minor adjustments to the engine. Biodiesel can be mixed in any ratio with mineral oil diesel.

LW Decanter Filter
I: Characteristics and Uses  
LW system Horizontal decanter is the machine which continuous separate suspending liquid solid - liquid according to the centrifugal sedimentation principle, solid phase was pushed off by spiral. The machine is a continuous and efficient solid - liquid separation equipment, the features as follows:
 
1. The application scope is broad, adapt well to material, can be widely used in chemical industry, light industry, food, papermaking, mining and other industrial departments, suspending liquid solid weight concentration is 10% or less (or after 24 hours of free settling, the volume concentration is 5% or less), the solid phase particle equivalent diameter is 0.002 ~ 2 mm or more, liquid-solid weight difference is or more than 0.05 g/cm3 of suspending liquid's liquid and solid separation.
Fore example, in calcium carbonate, barium sulfate, polyvinyl chloride, vinasse, paper pulp, vegetable oil, kaolin, white mud and environmental protection industry, the sludge and other materials all can be effectively dehydration;
 
2. Continuous feed operation, great capacity of production, high degree of automation, small unit consumption, etc.;
 
3. This whole separation process of the machine is in airtight condition, no pollution to environment, no smell,
 
4. The machine structure is compact, cover small area, easy installation, simple maintenance. The wearing parts - spiral surface was sprayed hard alloy, it can greatly improve the wear resistance and extend service life. And the spiral can be repaired after wear, so its life is long.
 
LWC170 Small type decanter filter 
This model is specially for filtering the vegetable oil from the screw oil press .
It consists of decanter,PLC control box,oil pump,and temporary oil tank,etc. It is one complete set filter system ,automatically operation under the PLC controlling condition,which could automatically adjust and change the velocity contrast to separates out the gums and oil depending on the different oil quality . 
The final oil quality is better quality ,the final gums content could be reduced to less than 100ppm .

 

II: Structure and working theory
LW Horizontal decanter is mainly composed of rotary drum, auger conveyor, feed tube, left/right end cover, bearing seat, engine seat, differential mechanism, motor drive part and electric control box, etc. 
 
Operating principle are as follows:
When the machine starts to full speed rotation, it produces a strong centrifugal force field, the suspending liquid material was fed into spiral accelerated bucket for acceleration, through the the four discharge holes of spiral cylinder body, the material enter into the rotary drum. Under the action of centrifugal force field, the large proportion of solid material sink to drum wall, and form a ring solid layer. Under the action of differential mechanism, the auger conveyor makes the spiral speed advance or delay than drum, produce a constant differential speed, push off the dehydrated solid phase sediment from the little end taphole of cone drum, and the light proportion of clarification liquid outflow from the overflow hole of column end. The machine continuously work like it, to achieve the purpose of continuous separation.
